Sister Games - a doll coming of age.
In the inhospitable environment of a trailer the white trash prostitute Baby Paradise educates her new living doll named Cherry. They engage themselves in sister games and please daddies, yet at one point Cherry gets lost.
Sister Games tells the story of two female outcasts and their toxic relationship. A lost, potentially trafficked girl meets her older, more experienced sister. In the twilight realm of sex work and doll prostitution she finds herself confronted with a system of power, violence and racism. A narrative short film about trauma and the way we survive trauma. A dystopian vision of our current socio-political reality told through the voices of those who haven't been heard yet.
The films is inspired by Anna Valeska Pohl's former releationship with a transgender sex worker. Part III of the Baby Paradise series - Pohl's punk trilogy about trauma and taboo.
